American Flag Project: Photo #3

This is one of my favorite flag photos.  It was taken in October of 2007 when the city of Noblesville hosted the traveling Vietnam War Memorial.  I have several photos that will give a compete photo story of the site and environment of the experience which I will add to my posting.   D70, 62 mm with a Sigma 28-105mm lens, ISO 400.

American Flag Project #2

Going back through my files I have always had an interest in photographing the American Flag.  The above picture was taken with my first digital camera in June of 2005.  This was taken at the Oaklawn Memorial Cemetery in Fishers, Indiana.  Nikon 775, ISO 100, focal length 7.1 mm, Shutter speed:  1/300 at f/8.6.  My guess is this was on an auto setting.

This photo was taken in the Noblesville High School gym before the basketball game on
1/14/11.  This flag hangs above the gym floor and scrolls down from the rafters for the playing of the
National Anthem.
